Frequently Asked Questions

  • I’m a beginner, is this rope right for me?
    • Yes! We're firm believers in learning on a rope that's similar in weight and speed to the one that you will eventually want to end up with. In fact, the inherent speed of our ropes actually makes getting those first double-unders easier than with any other rope on the market. That said, we do recommend sticking with the coated cable (standard on most of our ropes) as the coated cable will provide a bit more feedback in the handles, making it easier to develop your timing and rhythm, and also has the added durability to withstand the learning process.

  • What if my cable frays?
    • Don't even sweat it! ...your rope is NOT broken. Our handles hold all the magic and technology and are virtually indestructible. The cables however, while crazy fast, will need to be replaced occasionally. Luckily, this is cheap and easy to do right here on our site!

  • How long will my cable last?
    • Many factors can impact the lifespan of your cable, including your jumping surface, sizing, jumping style, form & efficiency, frequency of use, etc. Some people will go over a year without replacing a bare cable and some will go through one every month or two. If you find you go through cables more quickly than you like, simply swap that bare cable out for a coated one and you'll be good to go. Whichever cable you prefer, both styles are easy to replace and can be found right here on our site in a variety of colors!

  • Do you have sizing recommendations?
    • Yes we do! You can find our sizing recommendations and instructions here.

  • What is the supplied length of cable?
    • All ropes come standard with a bare cable that is 12’ long, which is suitable for persons up to 7 feet tall.

  • Do you offer replacement cables?
    • Yes we do! You can find them here. Our bare cable isn’t the most durable, so if you’re a beginner (or can’t always jumping indoors) we recommend selecting a coated cable for your handles, as they’re quite a bit more durable. If you can do 30 or more unbroken double unders (and only jump indoors), then typically the bare cable is a good fit!

  • When will my order process and how long will shipping take?
    • All in stock items will be processed and shipped within two (2) business days of your order being submitted and will ship USPS (3-5 days in the US and 9-12 internationally, based on the distance to destination and local customs policies).

      You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link directing you to your tracking information. NOTE: There may be up to a 3 day lead-time on all engraved orders. We also offer an expedited shipping option (1-3 day delivery within US) for an extra charge, and can be selected during the checkout process.

  • Do you ship internationally?
    • We have expanded our international shipping destinations including but not limited to Europe, Australia, and Canada. To get a price quote on shipping you can go through the check out process and our system will generate the shipping rate before you have to input your credit card information.

      All shipments being sent to and from a country (outside the US) must clear customs first. This can cause delays in the shipping time of your order. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

  • Do you offer returns?
    • Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date on all non-customized products. Customized products, including engraving, are final sale. Returned products must be in original packaging and free of any visible signs of wear/use, subject to inspection. Shipping costs are non-refundable. All returns are to be sent to our e-commerce warehouse.

      Customers are responsible for return shipping for both ways on all returns/exchanges. The customer will need to provide a prepaid mailing label or complete a credit card authorization form so we can process the return shipping costs.

  • Swim return policy
    • If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to RPM Training Co. within 14 days of delivery date. We do not accept products that have been worn, altered or washed. All swimwear returned must be in new and unused condition with sanitary liner intact. All returns must be in the original packaging with all tags attached. All items purchased on sale are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

      If there is an issue of receiving the wrong item or you have an item that is defective beyond normal wear and tear please contact our Customer Service team at support@rpmtraining.com

      Original shipping charges will not be refunded unless the returned items are deemed defective.

      Please allow up to 10 business days from the receipt of your return to be processed and your refund issued.

  • What if my order was sent to the wrong address?
    • You may contact the shipping carrier, USPS, to attempt to reroute the package to your new address using the tracking number that was provided with your shipment confirmation. If the package is returned to our headquarters, we can reship it to you at the new address. If the address mishap was user error, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipment.

  • How can I become a wholesaler?
    • Wholesale pricing is available for orders of 10 or more ropes with a valid re-sale license. Please email us for pricing.

  • Do you offer sponsorships?
    • At this time we offer a limited number of sponsorships throughout the year to those who share our passion around the sport and can help us strengthen our brand. We encourage you to contact us if you feel like you and/or your team may be a good fit!

  • What payment methods can I use?
    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

  • How is sales tax determined for my order?
    • The standard tax rate for Santa Clara County will be applied to all orders within California.

  • RPM Test Leaderboard
    • We’re all about speed, so we welcome all of our athletes to give the RPM Test a try, and share your score with us. The RPM Test is finding your max amount of double unders completed in 60 seconds. The double unders don’t have to be unbroken, but only completed attempts will be counted. To share your score with us, upload a video showing the full minute and if you’re in the top ten we’ll send you a shirt. If you make the top three, we’ll send you a custom rope. You can upload your video here.

  • RPM Training Co. Limited Warranty
    • RPM Training Co. products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 5 years from the original retail purchase of the product.

      RPM Training Co. warrants that each part will be free from defects and workmanship for the applicable warranty period and no other warranty, expressed or statutory, shall be implied. If any defect in RPM’s parts or workmanship is discovered and RPM is notified within the warranty period and is otherwise not limited by the terms of this warranty, RPM shall, at its sole election, either (a) repair the defective part, (b) replace the defective part, or (c) reimburse the customer for the purchase price of the defective part.

      The Warranty will NOT cover:

      Wear of the jump rope cable. Wear includes, but is not limited to fraying, fragmentation, and fracture. Consult the “disclaimer” on our website for instructions on how to extend the life of your cable. Malfunction or failure of any product as a result of abuse, improper use or adjustments, modifications, or neglect. Anodizing, paint, or finish damage including but not limited to chips, scratches, or discoloration caused by normal or abnormal use.
